The university course “Emergency Psychology and Psychological Crisis Management” was established at Sigmund Freud University Vienna in the academic year 2015/2016.
The course provides the necessary emergency psychology knowledge on a scientific basis as well as the necessary action skills for professional management of emergency situations in individual and large-scale incidents. The theoretical input is provided in practical form and specific techniques are practised using practical examples. This ensures the transfer into practice.
