In the winter semester 2016/2017, the university course “Psychosocial Counselling in Crisis and Trauma” was established at Sigmund Freud University Vienna.
The aim of this course is to acquire trauma-sensitive counselling and action competence in working with stressed, traumatised people or to supplement and expand one’s own specialist competence already acquired with knowledge and “tools of the trade” from psychotraumatology, neurobiology, resilience research and crisis intervention.
The course is offered in German.
